Disc pack coupling: Series extended

R+W has supplemented its range of torsionally stiff precision disc pack couplings. With the finely graduated LP series, designers can realize weight and cost advantages and precisely optimize the drive train.

The single and double-cardanic models of the LP1 and LP2 series are now available in twelve sizes instead of six. Equipped with keyway mounting, the couplings are designed for nominal torques of 350 to 12,000 Nm.

Models with a conical clamping ring (LP3 and LP4) and versions according to the API 610 standard (LPA) with a keyed connection are also available. In addition, R+W continues to provide special designs according to customer requirements, e.g. in other lengths.

Precision disc pack couplings from R+W are designed for extreme temperature ranges from -30 to +280 degrees Celsius. Compact and completely made of steel, they are used worldwide, e.g. in test stands, steelworks, conveyor systems and pumps.
